The rust resistance of galvanized perforated mesh stems from the dual protection mechanism of the zinc coating, namely physical barrier protection and sacrificial anode protection. Firstly, as a dense physical barrier, the zinc coating can effectively isolate the base material (usually low-carbon steel) from oxygen, moisture and corrosive media, blocking the occurrence of rust reactions at the source.
